Walmart Inc.: $1,000.00 to help fund Youth Activities in the Basement for Summer: They helped to fund Play Station II & Wii games, puzzles, board games and fun food ideas for youth on Monday's and Fridays.

Colby Police Special Law Enforcement fund given through the auspices of the Thomas County Community Foundation – $702.00 for the purchase of a lapel microphone for guest presenters at the PML library functions, and also two audio-speakers to improve the ability of patrons to hear while special events are being held in the basement – March 2009 Walmart Inc.: $1,000.00 to help fund special crafts and activities for weekly Story Time lessons in 2009.

Thomas County Attorney Special Law Enforcement Fund through the Thomas Community Foundation: A grant of $1261.91 to purchase DVD's with art and photography themes and also instructions for visual learners.
